Sibiu

Sibiu (Hermannstadt), a city with a population of about 155,000, is located in the central part of Romania, in the south of Transylvania. Sibiu is one of the most important cultural centres of Romania, designated as a European Capital of Culture in 2007.
 

The city's favourable geographical location, a well-qualified workforce, good infrastructure including an airport with domestic and international terminals, and an efficient administration are the main reasons for the presence of foreign companies in Sibiu, especially those from Germany and Austria.
