Professionals of Rödl & Partner Italy have been recently awarded for their highly qualified consultancy assistance. Awards were given to different areas of consultancy – from Data Protection to food law, from M&A to Energy Law -, recognizing the excellence of consultancy provided by several of our teams.

2021 Food Legalcommunity Firm of the Year

The Legalcommunity IP & TMT Awards aim to showcase legal market excellence in intellectual property protection, telecommunications and media.

Legalcommunity for the year 2021 awards Rödl & Partner as the best FOOD law firm of the year, stating that "the firm has been a leading player in the industry during the research period, tackling highly complex transactions with companies and in food matters."

The award has been received by Dr. Barbara Klaus and Isabella Corrias.

Rödl & Partner Best Lawyers 2022

Rödl & Partner Italy's professionals have been mentioned by the Best Lawyers portal, which monitors and selects the best legal talent worldwide.

Our professionals are present in the "Best Lawyers List for Italy 2022" for the categories M&A, Corporate Law, Energy Law.

Rödl & Partner is Innovation & Data Protection Firm of the Year according to Le Fonti

On 15 July, at the Diocesan Museum in Milan, the Le Fonti Awards 2021 took place, during which Rödl & Partner was awarded as "Firm of the Year" in the "Innovation & Data Protection" category, thanks to the work of the Italian Data Protection, ICT & IP team, led by Partner Nadia Martini. The award was assigned by a jury composed of representatives from the business world, the press and the Italian and international media.

To identify the excellences of the Le Fonti Awards, returns, operations and other facts suitable for the purpose of the award and relating to a 12-month period are taken into consideration. Le Fonti employs a Scientific Committee composed of experts in the academic, financial, business and legal fields. The Scientific Committee provides a unique contribution both as a Jury in the selection of the finalists and in the subsequent support to the selection of the winners.

The award was given to the firm for increasing its client base by strengthening its DPO support, consulting and privacy litigation activities in multi-million dollar proceedings. For having launched innovative, interactive and interdisciplinary training on Data Protection and Cyber, such as the DPO Academy. For having assumed, with Nadia Martini, the leadership of the international team with 55 offices worldwide.

The Privacy & Data Protection team has grown considerably in recent years, acquiring professionals and expertise that increasingly allow the firm to dedicate itself to the implementation of the GDPR in national, multinational and leading companies in various sectors.
