Rödl & Partner advised SGB-SMIT Group on its acquisition of Southwest Electric Co.

Rödl & Partner's U.S. Transaction Services team, led by Partner Frank Breitenfeldt, served as SGB-SMIT's financial advisor. The team provided critical support in buy-side financial and tax due dili­​-gence, deal negotiation and purchase contract drafting assistance.

The acquisition reflects a strategic fit for both companies, with Southwest Electric Co. enhancing SGB-SMIT’s service staff and complementing its specialized transformer and switchgear manu­​-facturing portfolio.
