Rödl & Partner advises VEGA on the acquisition of Medikron in Brazil

​São Paulo, 5 July 2018: Rödl & Partner assisted VEGA (Grieshaber Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH), the international manufacturer of level and pressure instrumentation for the process industry, with the acquisition of 100% of shares of Medikron (Medikron Indústria e Comércio Ltda.).

 
An international and interdisciplinary team led by Philipp Klose-Morero from the São Paulo office advised VEGA, encompassing due diligence (financial, tax, labour due diligence and coordination with the legal advisor) and review of the closing accounts.

 
VEGA, based in Schiltach, Germany, has been present in the level and pressure instrumentation market for over 50 years. The company has 1,200 employees and is active in over 80 countries with a network of subsidiaries and distributors. Medikron, established in São Paulo, was a distributor for VEGA in Brazil for more than 20 years.
