Rödl & Partner advises Waldner Holding on its participation in the Indian GD Labs Private Limited

Pune, 20 May 2021: Rödl & Partner comprehensively advises Waldner Holding on its participation in the Indian GD labs Private Limited. The participation took place in way of an unilateral capital increase as well as through a contribution in kind of the Waldner India Private Limited’s existing business.

Waldner Holding

Waldner Holding is a leading solution provider around its core field “Laboratory- Equipment”: offering consultancy, planning and project management of turnkey solutions to the complete equipping of Laboratories including lifelong maintenance. Waldner Holding is successfully operating in India since 2009.

GD Labs Solution

GD Labs Solution is an Indian family owned Company based in Vadodara, Gujarat. GD Labs Solution is as well a system provider in the field of laboratory equipment. They are specialized in the production of laboratory equipment made of metal.

GD Waldner Labs

Through this participation Waldner will expand its own portfolio with laboratory equipment made of metal. GD Labs will benefit form Waldners excellent global sales network. In addition, both companies expect to be able to serve the increasingly important Indian market (“Pharmacy of the world” and “ Make in India”), even more successfully together. This decision is of strategic importance for both companies. The same was emphasized by the shareholders and managing directors of both companies during the signing of the Shareholders Agreement. The formal Joint Venture was preceded by several years of fruitful cooperation in the manufacturing of metal made Laboratory equipment.
