Rödl & Partner advises Freudenberg on its acquisitions of Protect Plus Air Holding, Inc. and RPS Products, Inc.

Atlanta, Georgia, 29 December 2021: Rödl & Partner advised Freudenberg's Filtration Technologies business group on its acquisitions of Protect Plus Air Holding, Inc. and RPS Products, Inc., two manufacturers of high-quality air filters for residential and office buildings headquartered in North Carolina and Illinois.

Founded in 2001, Protect Plus Air Holding, Inc. has 940 employees, generated $118 million in revenue in 2020 and maintains strong relationships with well-known retail chains in the United States.

Founded in 1964, RPS Products, Inc. generated $41 million in revenue in 2020 with more than 200 employees. Its BestAir brand is well established in the United States.

The business group Freudenberg Filtration Technologies provides its expertise in innovation, materials and production to the companies. The acquisitions will expand Freudenberg's portfolio of filtration solutions in the North American market.

Rödl & Partner's U.S. Transaction Services team led by Frank Breitenfeldt acted as the exclusive financial and tax advisor to Freudenberg. Key service areas included buy-side financial and tax due diligence. The transactions were completed on September 22, 2021 and December 1, 2021, respectively.
