Rödl & Partner advises Insider Inc. on its majority acquisition of media start-up Morning Brew

​Atlanta, Georgia, November 17, 2020: Rödl & Partner advised Insider Inc. on its acquisition of a majority stake in media start-up Morning Brew, known for its popular email newsletters that cater to young professionals. Morning Brew was founded in 2015 by University of Michigan alumni Alex Lieberman and Austin Rief. Since raising $750,000 in capital to launch the start-up, Morning Brew has gathered a 2.5 million subscriber base for its business newsletters.
 
Rödl & Partner's U.S. transaction services team led by Frank Breitenfeldt acted as the exclusive financial and tax advisor to Insider Inc. Key service areas included buy-side financial and tax due diligence. The transaction was completed on October 29, 2020.
