Rödl & Partner advises the Marbach Group on the acquisition of Swedish Stållinjestans Laserform AB

Stållinjestans AB, a leading manufacturer of stamping tools in Sweden, has been part of the Marbach Group since the beginning of April. Stållinjestans AB, which has grown strongly in recent years and significantly expanded its services, sees the acquisition by the Marbach Group as an opportunity to ensure the continued positive development of the company and to accelerate its growth.

The previous owners of Stållinjestans, Martin and Sarah Rönngard, will remain in a management position after the acquisition and will continue to run the site in Malmö, Sweden.

The Marbach Group received comprehensive legal and tax advice on the cross-border transaction from an interdisciplinary team of Rödl & Partner. Under the overall project management of Associate Partner Mathias Racz, the team conducted a financial and tax due diligence and provided support in negotiation and valuation issues.

Stållinjestans Laserform AB is a leading manufacturer of stamping tools in Scandinavia, based in Malmö, Sweden. The company was founded in 1958 by Stig Rönngard and has been family-owned ever since. Stållinjestans Laserform AB designs and manufactures cutting tools, rotary tools, stripping tools and sells consumables for the graphic arts industry. The company has more than 60 years of experience in the manufacture of high-quality die-cutting tools for solid board, corrugated board, signs and various plastic materials.
