Bucharest, 31 January 2020: Rödl & Partner advised Grenzebach on the acquisition of CNUD EFCO GFT, the float glass division of BMT Group. CNUD EFCO GFT is a renowned, leading solutions provider in the glass industry for annealing lehrs and tin baths, as well as accessories therefore. The company has several international locations in Belgium, Germany, Romania and China. In addition to the glass sector, where CNUD EFCO GFT was involved in more than 300 float glass production lines, the company supplies other industries with its metal structures at its location in Romania. The transaction was completed end of 2019.
In the course of the cross-border acquisition, Rödl & Partner Romania provided support in legal matters regarding the Romanian target company, under the leadership of Country Managing Partner Bogdan Frățilă and Associate Partner Ioan Radu.
