Czech Republic: Rödl & Partner is Law Firm of the Year for 2017

Prague, 6 November 2017:  The 10th anniversary jubilee of the annual awards for Law Firm of the Year was again successful for international consulting firm Rödl & Partner. For the sixth time, Rödl & Partner obtained the award Law Firm of the Year in Tax Law, as well as recognition in other areas.  
 
This year, Rödl & Partner once again achieved the highest ranking in the competition for Law Firm of the Year. It was awarded the title of  2017 Law Firm of the Year in Tax Law. The firm managed to build on its successes from previous years and won recognition as the best firm in this segment for the sixth time in a row. It was also recognized as a highly-recommended law office in the area of labor law and as a recommended law office in corporate law and in the area of restructuring and insolvency.
 
Tax law occupies a prominent position at Rödl & Partner. The tax area is covered not only by the firm’s lawyers but also by its tax advisors and business consultants. The award Law Firm of the Year was created in 2008 and was inspired by foreign awards ranking legal firms (Chambers Global, PLC, IFLR 1000, Legal 500), awards which have a long tradition in the West. In the Czech Republic, the award is announced annually by EPRAVO.CZ. This year’s award ceremonies took place under the patronage of the Minister of Justice of the Czech Republic, JUDr. Robert Pelikán, Ph.D, and the Czech Bar Association.
