Rödl & Partner grows by 8.5 percent to EUR 490 million total turnover in 2019 – significant increase in Germany by 11.8 percent to EUR 264 million

Nuremberg, 11 May 2020: Rödl & Partner continued its steady growth course in the 2019 financial year. Global turnover rose by 8.5 percent to EUR 489.9 (previous year 451.5) million, whereby Germany accounted for EUR 264 million (+11.8 per cent). The turnover volume outside Germany increased by almost 5 percent to EUR 226 million. Instead of relying on networks or franchise systems, Rödl & Partner generates its entire turnover with its own offices in now 49 countries. Once again, the M&A business was a key driver for the significant growth. The total number of transactions handled by Rödl & Partner climbed from 282 to 313.

The growth in turnover is based on increases in all service lines, i.e. legal, tax, audit and management and IT consulting, and reflects the increasing demand of companies for comprehensive advisory services and solutions.

"The global specialisation in companies from German-speaking countries in combination with our interdisciplinary range of advisory services and over 100 of our own locations around the world is a unique selling point and of great value to our clients. As a result, we are in great demand as a services provider, especially among international family-owned companies in Germany," explains Prof. Dr. Christian Rödl, Chairman of the Management Board of Rödl & Partner.

The number of employees at Rödl & Partner rose again and amounted to over 5,100 worldwide at the end of 2019. In Germany alone, Rödl & Partner currently employs 2,050 people, which represents an increase of around 6 percent compared to the previous year. "We are a valued employer worldwide. With our own local colleagues, we can offer our clients the same high “made in Germany” standard all over the world," Rödl continues.
