Rödl & Partner wins Digital Champions Award in the category "Digital Customer Experience”

Nuremberg, 23 June 2017. Rödl & Partner won the Digital Champions Award 2017 in the category “Digital Customer Experience” for its private cloud solution. This is the second time that WirtschaftsWoche and Deutsche Telekom have recognised the most significant digital projects implemented by the German Mittelstand.

“The Digital Champions Award clearly shows that we are on the right track when it comes to advancing our digitalisation efforts – especially in terms of our clear-cut client orientation”, says Prof. Dr. Christian Rödl, Chairman of the Management Board of Rödl & Partner. Digital Champions Award candidates were assessed based on the St. Galler “House of Digital Business” model, which was slightly modified by St. Gallen University and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne for contest purposes.

In the category “Digital Customer Experience”, the jury focuses on the quality of customer orientation, measured by high digital standards. Rödl & Partner impressed the jury with its private cloud solution that enables the secure transmission and processing of sensitive client data: “The client platform of Rödl & Partner is a perfect example of how to make your customer needs a number one priority and thus increase one's own competitive position”, explains the jury in its assessment statement. The private cloud can also be easily and intuitively used when on the go.

“Our in-house cloud solution enables us to more effectively reach out to our clients also because we make it easier for them to learn about our services”, says Martin Wambach, Managing Partner responsible for, among others, global IT and as Chief Digital Officer for the Digital Agenda at Rödl & Partner. “We believe that digitalisation should serve the people, not the other way round. Therefore, our focus is always on our clients and our employees – also when it comes to the digital solutions we offer. Instruments such as the private cloud are tools that help us make the life of our partners in the Mittelstand easier bit by bit every day.”
