Increase in Child Care Allowance

As highlighted in our Malaysia Newsflash from October 2023, the Income Tax (Exemption) Order 2009 [P.U. (A) 152/2009]) was issued on 27 December 2023 to increase the limit of child care allowance received by an employee from his employer that is exempted from Income Tax from RM2,400 per year to RM3,000 per year.
