​​“Data is the gold of the digital age”, “Data is the oil of the 21st century”. These or similar statements are increasingly found in our media landscape. But when is data truly valuable for companies, and how can companies derive value from their data?


Modern ERP systems like SAP are the digital representation of the company. However, the standard reports included often provide only a limited view of the relationships between data and business processes. Value is often realized only when data is integrated across departments and analyzed by asking the right questions.


The functionality of our analysis platform for SAP systems currently includes over 23 audit areas, process mining for procurement and sales processes (P2P, O2C), and over 200 predefined analyses.


In addition to classic questions from annual audits, such as authorization analysis, identifying sources of errors, and potential fraudulent activities, the analyses aim at compliance requirements and weaknesses in business processes. The insights gained can be used as a central component of a data-driven risk management system (RMS), internal audit, or an adequate and effective internal control system (ICS), as well as to optimize existing business processes.​

Automatic and Comprehensive SAP Analysis with Analytics4Audit (A4A)
​A4A offers a wide range of pre-built analyses, allowing you to quickly generate value from your data without the need for your own data analysis system or extensive modifications to the SAP system.

You can use the analysis results to meet the aforementioned requirements in areas such as internal audit, risk management systems (RMS), and internal control systems (ICS), as well as to optimize your performance processes.

Secure Environment with Access to Analysis Results
​As auditors and consultants, information security is our top priority. Access to your data in your SAP system is achieved through an agent via simple user access with a standard SAP RFC component. We provide the agent for download. Your data is encrypted and securely stored in a dedicated environment within our high-security data center and will be automatically and securely deleted within six weeks after the audit.


We have outlined the process in the following overview:

 

 

 

For the so-called Digital Fit for setting up A4A, system access, and support, our specialists are available. You will gain access to our platform and can either monitor the process yourself or receive progress updates via email from A4A.

If you wish to repeat the audit, no further adjustments are necessary for the same SAP environment. You can download the analysis results upon completion of the analysis. If needed, we can also assist you with the evaluation or preparation of the results.​
