Suspension of the deadline for provision on information in SISCOSERV.

The special secretariats for Foreign Trade and International Affairs (SECINT) and the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (SERFB) from the Ministry of Economy inform that, in view of the Covid-19 pandemic, the federal government has extended the deadlines for fulfilling several obligations that affect the Brazilian private sector. In this regard, Joint Ordinance SECINT/RFB No. 25 was published on 26 June 2020, temporarily suspending, from 1 July  to 31 December 2020, the deadline for registration in the Integrated Foreign Trade System of Services, Intangible and Other Operations that Produce Variations in Equity (Siscoserv).

In addition, the pandemic scenario has also led to the need to redirect the federal government's budget resources towards actions, to deal with the health crisis. In effect, the temporary shutdown of Siscoserv from 11 July 2020 until the end of this year was carried out in order to make possible the reprioritization of resources that is currently required.

It is important to emphasize that the registrations that cease to be made at Siscoserv throughout this year must be inserted in the referred system from 1 January 2021. In this sense, from the mentioned date, the deadlines for the records will be resumed from the exact point where they were before the temporary suspension period.
