Application for cancellation of travel restrictions via e-Sekatan Perjalanan

Effective 4 March 2024, application for the cancellation of travel restrictions can be made online through e-Sekatan Perjalanan, which is accessible via MyTax Portal.

The application for cancellation of travel restrictions is only allowed for applicants who meet all the following conditions:

The travel restriction involves Malaysian citizens;
The travel restriction is imposed under the Income Tax Act 1967;
Exclude travel restriction imposed on company directors; and
Taxpayer has made full payment of the outstanding tax.
