Minimum wages related to skill standards

The Wage Committee announced new wages applicable to employees working in certain branches of occupation as follows: 
  
  • Industrial technician, transmission system technician branch, level 1 at least 495 THB per day;
  • Industrial technician, pump and valve system mechanic branch, level 1 at least 515 THB per day; 
  • Industrial technician, steel structure fabricator branch, level 1 at least 500 THB per day;
  • Industrial technician, adjuster branch, level 1 at least 500 THB per day; 
  • Industrial technician, Mig-Max welding system supervisor with robots branch, level 1 at least 520 THB per day; 
  • Industrial technician, mechatronics and industrial robotics branch, level 1 at least 545 THB per day, level 2 at least 635 THB and level 3 at least 750 THB; 
  • Mechanical technician, agricultural tractor mechanic branch, level 1 at least 465 THB per day, level 2 at least 535 THB per day, and level 3 at least 620 THB per day; 
  • Mechanical technician, backhoe loader machine operator branch, level 1 at least 585 THB per day; 
  • Mechanical technician, excavator machine operator branch, level 1 at least 570 THB per day;
  • Mechanical technician, towing machine operator branch, level 1 at least 555 THB per day;
  • Mechanical technician, loader machine operator branch, level 1 at least 520 THB per day;
  • Service sector, holistic health promotion branch, Thai Sappaya (Nutrition Therapy) , level 1 at least 500 THB per day, and level 2 at least 600 THB per day;
  • Service sector, holistic health promotion branch, Thai Sappaya (Hydrotherapy) , level 1 at least 500 THB per day, and level 2 at least 600 THB per day;
  • Service sector, holistic health promotion branch, Thai Sappaya (Aromatherapy) , level 1 at least 500 THB per day, and level 2 at least 600 THB per day; 
  • Service sector, holistic health promotion branch, Thai Sappaya (Hydrotherapy) , level 1, at least 500 THB per day, and level 2, at least 600 THB per day; 
  • Service sector, beverage mixologist branch, level 1 at least 475 THB per day, level 2 at least 525 THB per day, and level 3 at least 600 THB per day; 
  • Service sector, early childhood care branch, level 1 at least 530 THB per day; 
  • Service sector, disabled mechanic branch, level 1 at least 520 THB per day, and level 2 at least 600 THB per day;

Note that employers are required to pay at least the announced minimum wage, provided the employee can submit a certificate that they passed the skill standard test for the respective occupation.
