EU to invest in the Philippines

In his press briefing in Malacanang on 12 July 2023, Alfredo Pascual, Secretary of Department of Trade and Industry, reported the success of his three-week investment roadshow in Europe. 

   

Amongst others countries, the delegation led by the DTI Secretary visited Berlin where Dr. Marian Majer, our head of office in the Philippines, was invited and present. 

    

Secretary Pascual mentioned that the trip resulted in 48 potential investment leads which generated 73 billion pesos in investment leads from the renewable energy and infrastructure development sectors among others, thus potentially generating more than 4,300 jobs. 

   

The Department of Trade and Industry is committed to develop an enabling environment attracting investments by wielding efforts to foster and sustain businesses that will uphold the influx of investments in the country.
