Visa free travel for business purposes

End of December, Thailand approved a measure permitting Japanese passport holders to enter Thailand for a period not exceeding 30 days for business purposes.

Previously, visa exemption was only permitted for tourism purposes. It remains to be seen if passport holders of other nations will receive similar exemptions which would ease short-term business stays in Thailand significantly.
